I just posted a tribute to my mother, as I was about to close this page, these girls (Miranda and Lauren) in the picture showed up. My heart breaks for their families. I can relate. A speeding teen ran my mom down on her motorcycle 50 feet from her driveway. She did not ever open her eyes. It was so hard and quick, she didn't even see it coming. Its only been 3 weeks and I'm all messed up.But our family met the parents of the girl who did this. They are wonderful people and their daughter was not drinking or doing drugs, she was out of control speeding. She has to live with this for the rest of her life, as do we. I have her address, I will write to her in time,but I myself have an 18 year old daughter and I had to put things into perspective. It was accident. It shouldn't have happened but it did. But my mom is gone, my children's grandmother........
